Infinite Touch introduces new parenting apps

An iPhone app development company based in Co Leitrim, Infinite Touch, has developed three apps aimed at to putting parents’ minds at rest.

The inspiration for the elaboration of the Fetal Sleep Tracker, Contraction Tracker, and Baby Feed Tracker Plus by Infinute Touch founder Andy Dunn was the upcoming birth of his daughter, due this September.

Baby Feed Tracker Plus is the latest app he has released on the iTunes store.

“Having built the Fetal Sleep Tracker and Contraction Tracker apps, I identified a gap in the market for an easy to use baby feed tracker app.

“Other apps are cluttered with unnecessary features. As I had read many books for new parents ahead of the birth of my child, I was able to focus on functions that meet the genuine needs of parents. Baby Feed Tracker Plus is ideal for a busy mum or dad – it has larger buttons and icons which make it easier to log items in the app when you have a baby in the other arm.”

Baby Feed Tracker Plus tracks a baby’s feed (breast and bottle), naps and nappy changes. It also includes reminders for feeding and napping and the facility for mothers to input details of which side they breastfed from last.

Freelance developer for ten years

Dunn has worked as a freelance web designer for ten years working for hundreds of companies and individuals all over the world.

“I was always keen to be involved in cutting edge software, and in 2009 I moved into iOS development. I got my first iPhone that year and was blown away. Being able to write apps that would run on this ‘magical’ device changed my perspective of software forever,” he said.

“For the next two years, I spent every spare minute writing code for the iPhone and learning everything I could about mobile application development. It paid off with the release of my first official app, Donedeal.ie, which went straight into the Number 1 free app spot on the Irish Apple App Store.”

He set up Infinite Touch in 2011 “to reach out to companies and individuals who need mobile app development services” and says it has been fully booked with projects from the beginning.
