launches Christmas TV campaign

Online retailer has launched its Christmas TV campaign with a suite of 40, 30 and 10 second ads.

The ad, which carries the tagline of ‘Christmas Delivered’, features face of the brand Caroline Morahan in ‘A Christmas Carol’ scene, showing one family how they can enjoy the perfect Christmas.

The will run until 20 December, the last order date for ordering for Christmas.

The ad is supported by a media buy and digital marketing campaign, including a ‘shop the ad’ format online. Each week the campaign will reach over two million adults and 75pc of Littlewoods Ireland shoppers.

The ad, which was created by DDFH&B, was directed by Brian O’Malley and produced by Red Rage Films.

“Christmas is a hugely important time for our customers. They lead very busy lives and as such, convenience is key, which is why we were delighted to launch our new free shipping service on time for this busy shopping period,” said Hilda Lyon, marketing manager, Littlewoods.

“With ‘A Christmas Carol’ we feel we have delivered a magical story, showing our customers how they can make their Christmas even more special.”
