L’Oréal Professionnel Launches INOA Smartphone App

L’Oréal Professionnel launches INOA smartphone app

Colour specialist L’Oréal Professionnel is to start a new smartphone app, INOA Colour Capture, which focuses on its ammonia-free permanent hair colour range, INOA.

The new app uses augmented reality and geolocation technology to send users on a mission to capture thousands of virtual INOA colour bubbles in participating salons across the UK and Ireland.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of n on iOS and Android,” said Michael O’ Connor, digital marketing manager for L’Oréal Professionnel. “The app is a first for L’Oréal and a real innovation in our marketing of INOA Colour using augmented reality and location-based features to drive our consumers to the salon.

“The app will allow consumers across the UK and Ireland access to a complimentary INOA hair colour or sample pack at thousands of participating salons. Our salon customers will benefit as thousands of new consumers are delivered to a salon with support from L’Oréal Professionnel.” O’ Connor explained.

On 3 September until 30 September, thousands of bubbles will be released across the UK and Ireland.

These virtual colour bubbles represent two different types of prizes:

  • Over 18,000 INOA nationwide complimentary colour services available in participating salons
  • Over 97,000 INOA colour care sample packs (one shampoo, one masque & one conditioner)

When a prize bubble is captured, the winner can instantly make their INOA colour booking and/or collect their INOA sample pack from the salon depending on the bubble captured. Participants can capture the bubbles in three ways: Street view, Map view and List view.

Consumers can register their interest in downloading the app at www.inoa.co.uk today.
