Connectors Event To Look At Saving Brand Ireland

A public brainstorming event to be held for the first time this evening will look at a range of issues affecting Irish businesses, including how to save Brand Ireland.

Devised by Conor Lynch, the Connector Brainstorm event promises to bring together some of Ireland’s top digital marketing experts along with some exciting start-ups and aims to provide a platform for new ideas to save Brand Ireland.

According to Lynch, the event, which is being held in the Science Gallery on Pearse Street in Dublin 2, will look at ways to save Brand Ireland in the eyes of the international public and look at new business ideas that will create new business opportunities.

“We need to put our heads together and devise a well thought out action plan for one of Ireland’s newest and profitable industries,” said Lynch, who founded online marketing agency Connector. “The digital economy in Ireland provides the best cultural and economic opportunity for us and our talented young population who have been badly let down by the previous generation.  Future prosperity is not about ‘property’ but ‘intellectual property’. As long ago as 2005 I was saying that you can’t export houses but no-one was interested.

“We are hosting Connector Brainstorm where the top digital media experts and members of the public come together to discuss all the important issues that we’re facing in Ireland today. We hope that these monthly events will help start ups to prosper while also ensuring everyone who attends can gain access to new ideas and direction in their area of business.”

The event, which is open to the public, will be an interactive brainstorming event with six of Ireland’s newest entrepreneurs also pitching their business for new ideas to help them grow. The winner of each topic will receive assistance from Connector to help their business in the digital sphere and promote them to the online community.

Those interested in attending this event must register.
