SAP Nurseries launches online gift business at ploughing championships

The new online venture sells mature trees and includes delivery and planting in its offering.

Gift buyers can choose a mature tree from a total of 22 different species such as Wild Cherry, Silver Birch, Norway Maples, Swedish Whitebeams, and Italian Alders.

SAP Nurseries was first established in 1971 in Co Kildare and moved to its current location in Cahir, Co Tipperary 1986 where it operates a total of seven nurseries.

The site totals 450 acres of production including 1 million field-grown trees and containerised production of 900,000 potted plants.  In addition, the group has a 10,000 unit airpot tree production facility.
