Irish company Instant Opinion’s real-time engagement product goes global

Irish company Instant Opinion’s QnA product, which offers a private and secure way to capture event interaction in real-time, has gone international with contracts secured for the Canadian government, the NUI Maynooth Innovation Value Institute (IVI) Spring Summit in New York and the forthcoming International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies (CIETT) World Employment Conference in Brussels.

CEO Aidan Kenny said that reaction to QnA in the global conference sector has been hugely positive.

“Using QnA does away with the need for roving mikes, putting your hand up to ask a question and the potential legal problems posed by using a Twitter wall for feedback and comments,” he explained.

The QnA product, which was developed for conferences, events and association meetings, offers a whole new approach to delegate engagement by offering a real-time newsreel of moderated questions, allowing for a private and secure way to capture event interaction.

Approved questions are broadcast onto screens during Q&A and panel discussions. In addition to real-time moderated questions, the QnA product also offers extra functionality such as audience polls, a reporting module for capturing valuable content from round table and interactive sessions, instant and online event feedback and real-time data.

Client wins in 2013 include the European Commission and Enterprise Ireland.

“Once we secure a new client, the repeat business is strong as they see the value of QnA at work,” added Kenny.

Established in 2011, Instant Opinion spent two years developing the QnA product.
