Doughnut brand Krispy Kreme UK has created a giant box of 2,400 doughnuts to launch its new service for big occasions. Called the ‘Double Hundred Dozen’, the box is more than three and a half metres long and just under a metre tall and was boxed up by staff at the Enfield Hotlight store in London today, 16 September It has been created to mark Krispy Kreme UK’s ‘Occasions’ offering allowing customers to place big orders for an event, corporate do or wedding treat. The total consideration will be €106m (£84m), plus stock in tank at the date of acquisition, all payable in cash on completion. The acquisition includes Esso SAF’s network of 274 Esso Express unmanned petrol stations; 48 Esso branded motorway concessions; and contracts to supply around 75 dealer owned dealer operated sites.
