Canadian firm recruiting for 200 positions at Jobs Expo 2012

Canadian engineering firm JV Driver have confirmed that it will be actively recruiting for 200 positions at Jobs Expo 2012, an employment and recruitment fair being held in Dublin’s RDS on Saturday, 12 Sunday, 13 May.

JV Driver, who is sponsoring the Engineering Village at Jobs Expo 2012, is a large industrial construction company, offering a range of services for the oil and gas, forestry, petrochemicals, energy and mining industries.

JV Driver, who are based in Alberta, will be recruiting for the following positions:

  • 50 Welders B-Pressure (TIG Welders)
  • 40 Pipefitters
  • 13 Steel Plate Fitters
  • 30 Welders
  • 50 Iron Workers
  • 5 Senior Project Managers
  • 10 Senior. Estimators
  • 3 Project Engineers

Jobs Expo 2012 is free of charge and that there will be a large number of job opportunities from a diverse range of companies such as:

  • Engineering company GxP Systems which currently has 21 job openings, for engineering positions in Ireland, the US and Mexico
  • Software company IFDS Percana
  • Australian company Tom Browne Drilling

The exhibition will be divided into different areas:
