Moyvalley

Based on a 530-acre resort near Enfield in Co Kildare, the Champions Club at Moyvalley was designed by Darren Clarke.

Darren Clarke put his heart and soul into the design of the Champions Club at Moyvalley, the 530-acre resort near Enfield in Co Kildare that features a 55-room boutique hotel and Balyna House, the restored 19th century country house that is now a luxury hotel.

The par-72 course measures a challenging 7,370 yards from the back tees. However, Clarke’s design philosophy has been to ensure that the average golfer will find the course both playable and enjoyable from the forward tees.

The driving range consists of three fully covered bays, an astro-turf area and two USGA specified practice tees on either side of the range, allowing play from both directions to target greens. Three full-size USGA-constructed putting greens are attached to the practice academy, enabling fine-tuning of the short game.

Membership: The Champions Club is currently holding a special offer on membership for the first 50 members (first come first served) valid until 31 March 2008. A preferential share costs €10,000 with an annual subscription of €1,250 per annum, including VAT.
