DoneDeal appoints marketing manager

Agnes Healy, DoneDeal's new marketing manager

Online classifieds ads business DoneDeal has appointed a dedicated marketing manager, Agnes Healy, further to announcing that over €1bn of goods were sold through the site in 2011.

This represents an increase of €300m compared to 2010.

Founded in 2005 by Fred and Geraldine Karlsson, the business has steadily grown and today claims over 2 million unique visitors to its website every month, according to independent website metrics company, Ireland Metrix.

Among DoneDeal’s current marketing activities which Healy will now be responsible for are two sponsorships covering the traffic and travel reports on Today FM and programme sponsor of The Moncrieff Show on Newstalk.

Healy has over five years of experience in marketing and prior to joining DoneDeal, worked in marketing roles with Laydex and KAL in Dublin.

Originally from Blackwater in Co Wexford, Healy will be based in DoneDeal’s head office in Wexford Town Centre.
