EMC and Cisco launch cloud package for SMEs

Tech companies EMC and Cisco have joined forces to deliver a ‘quick-start’ cloud computing package for the SME market in Ireland.
The new package is designed to allow SMEs to move their information technology infrastructure and growing volume of data to the cloud at low cost.
According to Jason Ward, country manager, EMC Ireland, cloud computing offers SMEs the opportunity to become more efficient and to cut costs while increasing the reliability and speed of their IT infrastructure.
“Through this cloud offering businesses can deploy business applications in a more efficient and cost effective manner whilst gaining improved performance and a higher quality of service,” he said.
“This new SME bundle is delivered at a significantly lower cost, providing businesses with the opportunity to adopt cloud and drive further innovation.”
