Line-up for Enterprising Donegal Business Week announced
Ironman Gerry Duffy
Irish winner of the 2011 UK Ironman contest Gerry Duffy is one of the speakers at this year’s Enterprising Donegal Business Week, starting 5 March.
Other speakers at the programme of events organised by Donegal County Enterprise Board include media commentator Dr Maureen Gaffney and social media expert Krishna De.
The aim of the week is to inspire and motivate people to consider starting their own business and to provide a learning and networking forum for those already in business. The theme is: “With winning in mind”.
The week kicks off in Letterkenny on 5 March with Debra Searle, entrepreneur, author and adventurer. Debra first hit the headlines when she single-handedly rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic.
The Student Enterprise Awards 2012 are the focus on Thursday in the Mount Errigal hotel Letterkenny, where there will also be seminars on controlling cashflow, marketing your business and lean manufacturing.
Gaffney and Duffy will make their presentations on 9 March.
