1,000 positions up for grabs at Dublin jobs fair

A jobs fair is underway in Dublin today at which organisers claim there are some 1,000 jobs up for grabs.
Companies taking part in the Keep Ireland Working tour by recruitment website Monster.ie at the RDS today include Yahoo!, Citi, Siemens, Aldi, IBM, PayPal, Bank of America, PepsiCo Ireland, Canada Life, Unicare, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, eBay and Citrix Systems.
The jobs fair is taking place in the Shelbourne Hall of the RDS in Dublin today and runs until 4pm.
Speakers at the event include CEO of Smart Homes and Panellist on RTE's Dragon's Den Sean Gallagher, who will share his insights and experiences about becoming a successful entrepreneur in Ireland, and comedian Jarlath Regan on how being laid off from his desk job was the catalyst for his stand-up career.
