The finalists for this year’s Published Accounts Awards have been announced today by the Chartered Accountants Leinster Society.
The awards, sponsored by the Irish Stock Exchange, reward companies for excellence in financial reporting in Ireland, and this year’s shortlist includes a total of 20 companies, not-for-profit organisations and charities.
A valuable forum to economic times
“These awards continue to promote and reward excellence in the presentation of annual published financial accounts,” said David Connolly, Chairman, Chartered Accountants Leinster Society.
“Today’s announcement of the finalists shortlisted for this prestigious award, represent the very best standards in the country and set the benchmark for others to follow.”
The Chief Executive of the Irish Stock Exchange Deirdre Somers said the awards provide a valuable forum to economic times.
“It is more important than ever for companies to maintain the highest standards in financial reporting and to be fully transparent and articulate in communicating both historical and projected financial performance to their stakeholders,” she added.

In addition to the sectional awards, there will also be a Design Award, a Technology Award, a Corporate and Social Responsibility Reporting Award and an Irish Enterprise Exchange Award.
Among the winners of last year’s awards were DCC plc (Large Quoted Company category), Glanbia plc (Small/Medium Quoted Company category), Bord Gáis Eireann (Statutory unquoted large entities category) and Focus Ireland (Not For Profit/Charities category).
Last year’s recipient of the Design Award was Focus Ireland and Bank of Ireland won the Technology Award.
CRH plc received the award for Corporateand Social Responsibility Reporting, while Total Produce plc won the Irish Enterprise Exchange Award.
The ceremony for the Published Accounts Awards takes place on Friday, 20 November in The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin.
