According to reports, the Government appears set to appoint Brendan McDonagh as the Chief Executive of NAMA, a position he had been filling on an interim basis.
McDonagh was appointed as interim NAMA CEO back in May. Prior to his NAMA role, McDonagh was the director of Finance, Technology and Risk at the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA).
He holds a degree in business management from Trinity College Dublin, and has worked at the NTMA since 1994.
