Aer Lingus has launched a new in-flight shopping range – Boutique – that it says will bring a wider range of luxury shopping to customers on all of its flights, at prices up to 60pc less than on the high street.

According to the airline, the new retail offering builds on the success of the previous in-flight shopping selection and showcases an entirely revamped product range, based on feedback from customers.

Extensive Product Range with Exclusive Items

The range includes 80 new products including several Aer Lingus exclusives.

Included in the women’s range are The Balm cosmetics, Azuni jewelry, Orla Kiely sunglasses and the rose gold watch by Fossil. New men’s items include the latest Armani fragrance ‘Eau D’Aromes, the Fossil ‘Grant Three’ watch, a L’Oreal ‘Men Expert’ set and an iPad cover with Bluetooth keyboard.

Collaborative Effort and Customer Insights

“Our cabin crew has been instrumental in putting together the Boutique brands and product range,” said Aer Lingus director of retail Caroline Hanly. “The team have given us their insights into what Aer Lingus customers want. There are lots of new products and brands in Boutique for our clients to discover and enjoy. For example, multi award-winning Irish designer Susannagh Grogan has designed two beautiful scarves exclusively for Aer Lingus, which are sure to go down well with our customers. ”

Celebratory Promotion and Giveaway

To celebrate the launch of Boutique, Aer Lingus is giving away a hamper with 22 items, valued at over €900. Visit the airline’s Facebook page for more information on how to enter.
