Ad for dogs to be aired tonight
An advert created specially for dogs is to be screened on ITV1 tonight.
It will be shown at 7.15pm during a break in Emmerdale.
The Bakers dog food commercial features high-pitched sounds that cannot be heard by humans, along with barks and whistles aimed at catching a dog’s attention.
Bakers, which is a Nestlé Purina PetCare brand, is hoping that the sounds will provoke a reaction from dogs across the UK and Ireland.
It is thought that dogs are most likely to respond by pricking up their ears or tilting their heads to pay attention, while some might even walk up to the TV.
A similar ad by Nestlé to promote its Purina brand of pet food was screened in Austria last year.
