MII honours new fellows

The Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) is to honour 11 new fellows at a special lunch today.

Fellowship, the highest category of membership of the MII, is awarded in recognition of a member’s contribution to marketing and/or to the work of the institute itself. 

The new fellows for 2009 are Conor Carmody, Meteor; Stuart Fogarty, McConnells; Kate U Ghallachir, DIT; Deirdre Houlihan, FBD Hotel Group; Paul Kelders, Jump!; Pat McDonagh, Supermacs; Pauric McGowan, University of Ulster; Fanchea O'Byrne, J&J; Geraldine O'Neill, Edelman; Kieran Rumley, Batchelors; and Tom Trainor, Marketing Institute of Ireland.

DIT lecturer Tim McNulty is to receive the 2009 Pat Cahill Award.
