The Danish President of the United Nations climate-change talks in Copenhagen Connie Hedegaard has stepped down.
She will be replaced by the Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen as world leaders begin to filter into the delegate mix as the Copenhagen conference enters its final phase.
Hedegaard (pictured), who is the Danish Environment Minister, said that with so many heads of state arriving it was appropriate that the Danish Prime Minister would preside over the summit and that the move was procedural.
