Following their whistlestop tour of Ireland, US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama flew to London for a packed two-day State visit.
The presidential couple were welcomed by the Queen in Buckingham Palace for two days of political talks but there was some fun to be had also.

Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha Cameron, welcome the couple to Number 10, Downing Street ahead of the leaders' meeting.


Cameron and Obama visited the Globe Academy in London during the visit, where they participated in games of table-tennis. According to reports, the students won!

The President said he was in Britain to reaffirm ties between the UK and US. The leaders discussed the global economy, as well as military activities in Afghanistan and Libya.

Several bilateral meetings were held over the two day visit.
