4th IEEE International Conference on Global Software Engineering
Lero is hosting the 4th IEEE International Conference on Global Software Engineering at the University of Limerick from 13-16 July 2009 beginning at 8.30am and ending at 5.30pm.
Fran O'Hara, Practice Manager of Sogeti Ireland is presenting a tutorial on Monday July 13th (2pm-5.30pm) on "Selecting and Managing Suppliers for Global Software Development." Fran will discuss the major steps and pitfalls of supplier management through selecting, planning, monitoring and then to acceptance and maintenance. The tutorial will mix tutor
presentation with discussion, exercise and workshop elements. He will cover practical techniques and also provide checklists and templates. The intended audience is suitable for both practitioners and academics.
