Jurys Inn has announced the appointment of Sam Shepherd as group HR manager.
In her new role Shepherd will have responsibility for further developing and delivering the company’s HR strategy across all the hotels and head offices focusing on succession planning, learning and development.
With over 15 years' experience in the retail sector, Shepherd has worked in a number of senior HR roles, the most recent being with Tesco, where she was head of HR for retail at Tesco Ireland. She played a key role in the 2010 restructuring of the management teams in stores, as well as introducing new processes to manage staff performance and absenteeism.
Jurys Inn Hotel Group operates seven hotels in Ireland, 24 in the UK and one in Prague.
