The Inspire Ireland Foundation has announced the appointment of Elaine Geraghty as its Chief Executive Officer.
Geraghty formerly held the position of CEO at Newstalk 106-108 from 2005 to 2009.
The Inspire Ireland Foundation was established in Ireland last year and provides mental health support to young people through the website ReachOut.com.
Geraghty will be responsible for the long-term strategic development of Inspire Ireland and for integrating the ReachOut.com brand into youth markets.
“We are delighted to have Elaine on board as our CEO. The foundation is a relatively young organisation and Elaine’s impressive background and experience will be invaluable as we continue to develop and grow Reachout.com and our other information services,” said Dr Colin Hunt, Chairman of the Inspire Ireland Foundation and Managing Director, Macquarie Capital Dublin.
During its recent advertising campaign ReachOut.com had up to 1,000 visits a day, highlighting the need for clear and relevant information on mental health and well-being.
